Honoring the Tim & Steph Busch School of Business at the Catholic University of America

The Youth Leadership Foundation (YLF) is pleased to inform that, in honor of their commitment to developing virtuous business leaders and principled entrepreneurs, the Tim and Steph Busch School of Business at The Catholic University of America has been selected as the recipient of its 2020 Spirit of Service Award.

The Youth Leadership Foundation Spirit of Service Award
The Youth Leadership Foundation's Spirit of Service Award recognizes leaders in the Washington Metropolitan area for their devotion to the character development and education of youth. The Busch School joins a prestigious list of honorees including Former First Lady Laura Bush, Mr. Robert Novak, and the Lou & Ann Donatelli Family. The honor will be bestowed on January 30, 2020 at 6:30 pm at Columbia Country Club in Chevy Chase, MD.
YLF and the Busch School
The connections between The Busch School and YLF Programs have mutual alumnus, including Fred Thomas who participated as a TAP student from fifth grade. Through TAP, Fred was encouraged to attend the Heights School, and was awarded a Heights scholarship by YLF. After receiving a BA in Philosophy from Thomas More College, he returned to DC to serve as the director of TAP for five years. He then received a scholarship through YLF that allowed him to attend the Busch School Master of Science in Business (MSB) program. Upon graduation from the MSB program, Fred earned a position at Salesforce with their Aerospace & Defense team.
