Cheering on Team USA, YLF was awarded $9,200 from Koons Automotive

While Team USA was battling for the Olympic gold in Rio, Youth Leadership Foundation was enthusiastically cheering them on. Not only were we applauding their discipline and leadership (the same qualities we strive to instill in all our YLF students), but their successes made a huge impact on YLF programs. The Koons Automotive donated $200 for each of the 46 Gold Medals won by the U.S. to YLF – a total of $9,200.

This tremendous gift will help over 300 inner-city children this year grow in character and achieve academic excellence. Youth receiving mentoring are 130% more likely to hold a leadership position than their peers when they enter the workforce. Thank you, Koons Automotive for making an impact!
